Awesome recipes and descriptions

I was looking for some German baked good recipes and this book had them. Written by the daughter of a German Bake Shop Owner, it has lots of little insights and tips and delicious recipes that she got from her father. I haven't been able to try them all yet, but from the ones I have tried (different breads, pizza doughs, and cookies) they have all turned out wonderfully. The Hard Roll recipes produced the same quality and type of roll I fell in love with when visiting Germany this past spring. I can't wait to try more recipes! If you like to bake, this is definitely a book to have in your library!

I lived in Endicott for about 12 years, and loved getting goodies from Elks. I've had the cookbook for a week now, and have already made 7 of the recipes. She has done a wonderful job of converting the recipes to household use while keeping the bakery quality.
